34 and overcast this AM. Supposed to start snowing this afternoon and they're forecasting up to 10 inches of snow
when it ends tomorrow afternoon. Thanksgiving should be OK, but more snow on Friday.
Oh well, had to come sometime. Just got the snow plow tuned up and it's ready to go.

My computer just rebooted in the middle of this message. That's the first time that has happened in years.
Windows 10 has been super reliable, up till now anyway.

Started today with moderate temp 43° came.to the farm to hunt and ran into.some cold rain until 11:00. After it quit raining the wind picked up to >15 mph gusts to 19 and finally sustained at 19 mph by end of hunting day. Looks like tomorrow morning will see high winds too. The temperature drops to overnight low of 30° with high of 46°. These high winds keep deer around here in deep cover which isn't good for us as we hunt on a farm that is mostly open.

beautiful but cool and windy Thanksgiving morning in Asheville, NC in the Great Smoky Mountains .... currently 47 with it only supposed to get up to 50 .... wind advisory in affect ===> ."Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. Isolated gusts to 60 mph are possible across the ridge tops" .... breakfast out of the way, turkey on tap

Sounds like a very accurate weather report, since we're only about a half hour away. :)
I sleep relatively late, so I usually skip breakfast on Thanksgiving. That way I enjoy the big meal even more around 4:00.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, Maureen and family. :)

22, overcast with only about 4" of snow since Tuesday.
The predicted really big dump for Oregon started fizzling out Tuesday afternoon. Heck I even saw blue sky and sun for about five minutes yesterday!

A good soaking rain this morning. On and off for the day. Passes to the Big Valley getting closed off and on due to snow, us Californian drivers aren't used to driving in snow. To say the least.
Boneless Stuffed Turkey in the oven at 7 out in a few and then two casseroles of corn bread apple dressing in the oven.
Yukon potatoes on to boil later.
Used the bones of the turkey to make stock for the all important gravy.

-6F tonight with light snow. Spent several hours yesterday with snowblower going, will finish the cleanup tomorrow. Not just long driveway but I do around the outbuildings too. Barn, pens, etc. We can get a lot of snow so have to keep ahead of it to be able to get around the place.
