Collapsible Utility Cart
early this year while in Texas I had an opportunity to visit the firing range at the Blackwood Gun Club near Conroe, Texas ===> https://blackwoodgunclub.com/ .... while walking several times between our truck in the parking lot to their rifle/pistol range I came to the conclusion that there had to be a better way to transport my equipment .... a few months later while doing the same thing at the Lake City Range near Kansas City, I saw Evan's (ESquared) "mule" .... I was impressed by Evan's mule (shown below) and made up my mind that I was going to have to get serious about finding one before our winter trip to Texas .... well, that time is here .... after considerable pondering, I decided I wanted a folding cart :
1. that could be pushed or pulled,
2. solidly built to haul as much weight as possible,
3. with wide wheels to help on sand or other soft surfaces
as with many things, I quickly learned that such cart come with prices all over the place .... it took a bit of looking but I finally found one with a 300 lb rating at a price point I can live with ====> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WJ ... H7WV&psc=1 .... looking forward to getting it and putting it through its paces before we head for Texas

Re: Collapsible Utility Cart
He did make it look easy, didn't he? A good idea.

Re: Collapsible Utility Cart
well, we wanted a heavy duty cart and we now have one ..
.. the Beau Jardin cart/wagon we ordered, shown in the link above, arrived today .... the pictures below tell part of the story ... the metal frame is solid, the tires appear to be very strong rubber, the material is stiff/, shouldn't split easily .... both the front tongue and rear push handle lock into place .... it is heavy ... looking at it side by side with others owned by our kids, I believe it to be well worth the somewhat higher price

Re: Collapsible Utility Cart
Nice cart! It should serve you well. And, I couldn't help but notice Sassenach in the background of Push Handle Lock 001.

Re: Collapsible Utility Cart
I asked my Sassenach about standing up in the cart for a picture ..
.. she declined ..
.. no real surprise there ..

Re: Collapsible Utility Cart
I got the Academy one. It looks to be similar except the wheels aren't as wide.

Re: Collapsible Utility Cart
impressive cart .... 225 lb capacity speaks well for it .... looking forward to seeing it in January .... the main reason I wanted wide wheels if for use in sand (as in down at the coast) and mud/soft dirt .... most of the parking lots of the ranges we shoot are paved or have hard gravel surfaces where wide tires aren't really necessaryShakey Jake wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 11:18 amI got the Academy one.
