I just looked at that photo again. Awesome moment. Look at her face. We should all be that happy and carefree. What a great picture. Thanks.

CT has been lucky enough to have avoided that huge, hot mass of air in the rest of the country. Sunny today, temps in the low 80s. If you're in the heat, take care!

We've got a full morning of Drs. appointments, then yard chores and a little reloading.

Great picture PMC. They do grow up fast. Mine is in her 30s. Seems like yesterday she was a toddler. She and I had a great time at the range yesterday giving the Henry's a workout. The only fly in the ointment was the weather. We were both sweating in the INDOOR range. Highs in the mid 90s this week.

Had one cup of Rio Grande Dark Roast, raining here today and supposedly into tomorrow also. But it was getting a bit dry as the grass would soon have needed watering.

It is 70* here at 5:20 AM. with rain. Calling for 88* today with a flash flood watch and 1-2" of rain tonight. We don't need that kind of rain. I think I will work today instead of tomorrow with that kind of rain fall predicted tonight there will be flooding on the way to work tomorrow. Sounds like it is raining harder now I can hear it hitting the roof pretty hard. Every one have a nice day.

Will be 87 here today, humidity was pretty brutal yesterday. Only one cup of coffee this morning, switching to tea later today at work. Have a good one and stay safe.

Took my wife to a doctor appointment yesterday, and on the way home at noon the van temp gauge was glued at 100 degrees. I echo PMC's description of the humidity -- brutal. During most of the afternoon at home, the outdoor patio thermometer was stuck at 103-104 degrees. Wondered if it would melt down. Today is predicted to be hotter yet, with a heat index at or above 112 degrees.

A severe thunderstorm muscled through last night about fifty miles SW of us. Hard to imagine +50mph wind throwing around Ping-Pong ball sized hail!!

Having a Henry mug filled with double mocha now, wondering when I'll have the chance to be out another day on the range. Too hot to be out there with this weather! :(

OK, keep cool, Everybody! ;)

It is 68* here at 7 AM and looks like it may dump it down any minute. Rained hard last night but not like it was fore cast to get 1-2". Hoping for it to clear out before tomorrow. It is drag racing this week end at Pittsburgh Raceway and the wife and I plan on going both days. Had plans to shoot a few guns at the range today but have to wait and see what the weather is going to do.

Just a lovely day here now with a nice breeze. Having a second cup of dark roast with a blueberry muffin. Have to shop for mom today, I'm heading up to Allentown tomorrow morning to visit her. You all have a pleasant day.

5:45 AM and 53* and feels great instead of the hot muggy temps. I would like it to stay in the 60's all day but it is calling for lower 80's. Getting ready to head to the drag races at Pittsburgh and hoping it doesn't get to hot and sticky while there. My wife said she is not going until tomorrow so a friend is going in her place. Bad roads for deer and hoping not to see any. The roads going there are also bad for bears crossing the highways. Had a couple close calls on deer the last trip. Everyone have a nice week end and have fun.

It's going to be a scorcher here today. Even more tomorrow. That's fine, because I have to make repairs to the dock and that means being in the water. That will be a tough job!
