the good news is for our part of central NC, no freezing temps showing in the 7 day forecast .... the not so good news with the temp in the upper 30's and low 40's they are calling for steady rain for today and tomorrow ....

Woke up to 36° and sunny this morning. Thinking about going to the range this morning after my sister-in-law's helper arrives. It'll be a bit chilly but loaded up some new 25-06 rounds and want to go try them in in the Ruger No 1.

just curious : I use RCBS dies and have seen listing for their Cowboy dies .... what's the difference .... if you start a thread in the reloading area would be a better place for answers that I bet will interest several folks

The Cowboy dies have a neck expander that makes loading cast bullets much easier.

JEB I currently have my eye on a Marlin Texan 30-30 that is missing the stock.
If I can score it cheap enough that will probably get the nod.
Most wouldn't do that to a Texan as they are way more scarce than the reg. 336's, but
then I not like most people.
