Yesterday, Nov. 13 I turned 79. Frankly I'm surprised I made it this far as I am the lone survivor of my family. Also within the last three years I lost three cousins who were at least ten years younger than I and I have three more suffering with cancer. I have been blessed. I have a wonderful wife who looks after me every day and children who care enough to call and wish me happy birthday. In fact, my six year old made a video singing happy birthday, and with his dads help sent it tome.
We have a tradition that Carol and I go to our favorite steak house on my birthday and I have Surf and Turf. We did that last night. It was great. Now I have eaten Lobster in many places in the world and it still surprises me that this place prepares it as good as any place I've eaten. In case you're wondering it's "The Ranchero Supper Club in Webster, Mn. http://rancherosupperclub.com
If you're ever in the area try it out, but be advised it's not cheap, it's just good.

Yes, life IS good Coop and you are here for a reason. Glad you have a loving wife to help you along. My "Carol " certainly helps me as well.
Any day we wake up is a good day, just have to seize them and make the best of them one at a time!
