Western Australian Wildflowers

Post by PT7 » Tue Jun 14, 2016 10:58 pm

The photograph below is of a gift I received from a very dear friend, who used to live in the ACT...."down under."

I don't know the names of these wildflowers, but I thought they are quite beautiful for being so very tiny. Wish they were in our patio garden.
I counted close to sixty flowers here! There are encased in plastic, and the entire display is only 4-3/4" wide X 3-1/2" tall.

And the display "case" is a neat reminder to me of my friend's home country of many years.
Hope everyone enjoys this tiny bouquet!

Very pretty. Reminds me of that line in Quigley Down Under where Tom Selleck says "I said I had no use for flowers, I never said I didn't know how to use 'em."...or maybe I don't recall it quite right. :)
