Ones here are Fir cones, not very big compared to Ponderosa cones. There are cedar ones too, but even smaller about the size of a blueberry. The mental image your pine cones dancing is way more entertaining.
Anyway, boss won't let me near the firearms until this indoor remodel is done.

Heard several shots around Sat.,only one yesterday morning, then I was gone the rest of the day.

Good morning from a frosty deer blind I believe it was 19° when I left, 21 at the moment. We got a little dusting.
Was watching two does pushing each other around, then they went separate ways.
One crosses to the right about 50 yds.
