Decided to leave the Harley in the garage today, road was still a little wet from the rain we got last night. Took the Jeep to work, had rain drops on the hood and hard top, temperature display said 34ºF on my way to work...about 15 minutes into my 30 minute commute, the water on the hood turned to ice...I don't know where the temperature sensor is, but it might be compromised by location.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Would a been a cool ride on the scooter, less ya got one of them there suits.
I saw this and cracked up. I just had to share.
The other night I was invited out for a night with the “girls.” I told my husband that I would be home by midnight, “I promise!” Well, the hours passed and the margaritas went down way too easily. Around 3 a.m., a bit loaded, I headed for home. Just as I got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hallway started up and cuckooed 3 times.
Quickly, realising my husband would probably wake up, I cuckooed another 9 times. I was really proud of myself for coming up with such a quick-witted solution, in order to escape a possible conflict with him. (Even when totally smashed… 3 cuckoos plus 9 cuckoos totals 12 cuckoos = MIDNIGHT !)
The next morning my husband asked me what time I got in, I told him “MIDNIGHT”… he didn’t seem pissed off in the least. Whew, I got away with that one! Then he said “We need a new cuckoo clock.” When I asked him why, he said, “Well, last night our clock cuckooed three times, then said “oh xxxx” Cuckooed 4 more times, cleared its throat, cuckooed another three times, giggled, cuckooed twice more, and then tripped over the coffee table and farted.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Winter came early. Been below freezing all week, but supposed to go to the 40s today, then rain and snow this evening
and a cold front comes in overnight and back below freezing. Out average highs should be in the 40.
Coffee in my VFW cup.

All over the place here in Aus, snow in the southern part of the state and fires ragging in the north with temps pushing 100 the last week. Nearly 1000000 acres burnt and at one stage friday 17 fire emergency declarations.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Morning, 35°here in central W TN, should be upper 60's later.
Headed to the deer blind as soon as the coffee is ready,
then I have a toy run ride at noon.
Then a funeral at 2:30.
Pretty full day I'd say, then the rest of the week is suppose to be cooler.

It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day here.
It started about 33 degrees and is already up to 46.
