I like Ruger's Way...

Post by ditto1958 » Mon Jun 13, 2016 8:06 pm

I really like Ruger's way of introducing new guns. They get a new model manufactured, and get it to the distributors, and THEN they announce it, so you can buy one the first day it comes out. They get samples out to reviewers, but keep them under embargo until the day of the announcement. That way, reviews are put out on the Internet the day the guns are announced.

Why am I going on and on about this? Because the Henry Long Ranger is still not in stores. It seems like ages ago that I first read about it. I'm just not a patient person. :(

I understand the frustration. I think Ruger being as huge as it is gives them an advantage here. They can afford to manufacture a sizable stock to warehouse before release.
Load on Sunday and Shoot all Week.......okay it's a Mare's Leg I will reload on Wednesday. ;)

Where's the excitement in that? I have a Long Ranger on order and I feel like Raphie waiting for Christmas.

I feel your pain.

As I recently posted, evidently the All Weather 45-70 is at least partially constructed of unobtanium. And it's been announced since around January.
