If you remember, could you let me know how that works out? I’d be very interested to hear, as I thought I read somewhere (ifits on the “webz” it must be true!) that the heavier bullet weight in the 405s was partly responsible for the diminished recoil? They have the 35 and 38-55 side gate in stock at the LGS. They are Brass though of course. Price on each was $819.00. He is always willing to come down for cash. can't imagine it myself! He was a big boy though.You need a 38-55 Mark there just a ton of fun to shoot. Vaquero needs one to. He's halfway there with the mold and I know he loves to reload
Yes, that sounds fun Al, but I don't, and probably never will, reload, if what Mags says is true ( which I do not doubt ), then I don't see that happening.
Al, the brass receivers do nothing for me, yes I do have a 44 BBB, but I bought it used, and the brass has a nice patina.
