Truex is on a roll. Another great win.

Newman has another Top 10 at 6th.

Now the leader of the Bubble cars.

Kyle Busch clinches to the next round with a 2nd place.

congrats to the Gibbs teams but the 20 failed post race inspection >>>> https://www.nascar.com/news-media/2019/ ... -richmond/ and ended up 38th .... 400 laps with only a few different leaders and lead changes .... sadly, that's pretty much the norm at many tracks

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has lost his Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series ride for the 2020 season, as Chris Buescher will take over the No. 17 Roush Fenway Racing Ford, the team announced Wednesday.

Stenhouse has been a part of Roush Fenway since 2008 — that includes his ARCA Series days — and piloted the No. 17 since 2013.

Saw that on the news tonight. Wonder if someone else might pick him up. Maybe one of the shoestring teams.

That said, I like Buescher. Might just be a good teammate to Newman.

when Charlotte created its Roval I thought it was a horrible idea .... I still wouldn't buy a ticket to watch a Roval race there because you can't see all of the track .... but I have to hand it to them, today they put on one heck of a race .... I was most impressed with the winner, Chase Elliot .... he drove a race that will be discussed for many years to come .... also impressed with the driving of Alex Bowman .... Ryan Newman didn't finish well but driving a car that probably goes directly to the junk yard, he really showed he hasn't lost his fire .... lost a great deal of respect for Bubba Wallace .... interesting to see all 4 Hendrick cars in the top 9

Something different that’s for sure.

Once Chase hit that barrier and somewhat damaged his car, if someone would had bet me $100 that he would win the race, I would have taken it. Unbelievable come-back.

It was disappointing to see/hear what Bubba did. I really like him. I think he is a better driver than the equipment he's in.

On another note, I am a big #9 fan, and today was a great race!

his Dad had a historic comeback back in 1985 that Kyle mentioned during the post race coverage (see link below) .... I believe that Chase's comeback today will be elevated to a similar status

I don't care for that race layout. Hard to follow.
What happened to Rowdy? I missed that part.
Chase did do a fantastic job though.
