Depending on the severity of the crack yes thereI don't suppose there are any ways to repair the crack?
Are.
If the crack closes well one of the best ways is to try to find some access locations to drill holes from the inside of the stock, through the crack and stopping before exiting the exterior.
Then with some hardwood doweling that fits the holes snugly, apply a good glue to the crack and and the dowel pins and drive them into the holes. If the crack is only partial, and a couple dowel pins can be fitted in this manner it usually results in a very solid repair.
