Re: Winchester 1892 357?
I own one, Miroku, 20" carbine. I really like it. I put a Marbles tang sight on it. It works well but I need to get a taller front sight for it. Nice firearm. I paid $932 (new) for mine through Buds.

I've ordered a Marbles site supposed to be for this model. Did you need any drilling done?Shakey Jake wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 9:20 amI own one, Miroku, 20" carbine. I really like it. If it's a tang sight and you have a forward screw hole in the tang you won't need any drilling.I've ordered a site supposed to be for this model. Did you need any drilling done?
It seems the last Miroku I looked at had the forward tang screw hole.

Re: Winchester 1892 357?
I had a gunsmith install it since mine has the safety. I'm not going to take it off to see but looks like he may have had to drill and tap one hole.Ojaileveraction wrote: ↑Tue Sep 03, 2019 11:50 amI've ordered a Marbles site supposed to be for this model. Re: pictures Winchester 1892 357?
PICKED up the 1892 yesterday. Went over it last night.
I think it's unfired.
Only wear was the top of the hammer were the bolt rides opening hammer.
Not a dent or mark on the stock
Cleaned the receiver barrel totally clean.
Waiting for the Marbels Tang Sight.

Re: Winchester 1892 357?
FYI I had to make an "add on" for the top of the front sight for mine. I just used some carbon fibre rod and 5 minute epoxy. A little filing and some white paint to top it off.
Jake.
