Glad you had a good day and keep thinking positive!
If nothing else, I am a positive thinker. Always. That's how I have gotten through lives travails and there have been many.

Beautiful day here today. Mid 70s and bright sunshine. My favorite time of year.

Yesterday we took our fifteen year old Grandson to the Minnesota State Fair. Also known as The Great Minnesota Get Together.
Beautiful day. I love to people watch and yesterday was great. Thousands of folks having a good time. Ate lots of junk
food including Sweet Martha's Chocolate Chip Cookies fresh out of the oven, Hot fresh cut French Fries, a Strawberry
Rhubarb ice cream sundae, and of course fresh cold milk.

We don't get there every year, but when we do it's great fun.

At one point the Wife gook the Grandson into a pavilion shopping and I chose to sit outside and listen to a free band doing
Rock and Roll music. To my astonishment I was hit on by some older ladies who were partying. Four of them, drinking beer
and having a ball, having left their Husbands at home. Can't say much for their taste, course they were drinking beer. :D

We are expecting a beautiful weekend, hovering around 80 or so and sunny. Perfect weather for the North Carolina Apple Festival just blocks from my home. Supposed to draw around 300,000 over the next 4 days. Usually it's way to hot and crowded, so we have not attended many times...maybe this year though.

Cloudy and the 70s today. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice. That's good because the family is coming
out for a day of swimming and eating.

I have a brisket on the smoker right now. Smoke it for a couple hours, then put a rub on it, wrap it in
foil and put in the frig over night. The tomorrow slow roast it in the oven til tender. Yyuuuummm!

Very cool Al. Getting to be that time of year for ballooning. My sister lived in Albuquerque for 20 years. I attended the balloon festival which occurs in October a couple times. Truly a sight to behold!

Now that's something I do miss about the south. I loved to hunt doves.
We just don't have enough of them around here to make it worth while.

60's here. Tea in Henry mug. Got grass all cut and used the new Stihl brush whacker. Place looks like a country club now. Better put a bow tie on Badger.
