Who knew?
Sammy was a gunslinger? I understand he was coached by some of the best gun coaches at the time, and was known as the fastest, or second fastest draw in Hollywood during his day.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Re: Who knew?
Don't forget, he was also a one-eyed singer/dancer/actor/African-American/Jewish gunslinger. Love Sammy.

Stream the movie 'The Trackers' from 1971 or his appearances in 'The Rifleman' .
Where were you guys in the 70's ? weren't you out shooting, hunting & spending a summer being Jeremiah Johnson?

This is me on my first blackpowder deer hunting trip (about 18) and I stumbled on a coyote - well the picture says it all and I still have the fur from it I tanned!

Re: Who knew?
I loved the Characters he and Dean Martin played in Cannonball Run. In fact, there were a lot of big name stars spoofing themselves in that film... An old favorite. Roger Moore was hilarious.
