not morning but some interesting weather blowing through ....heavy thunderstorms all around which comes as no surprise because the temp has fallen 19 degrees (from 97 to 78) since we setup our camper .... sounds like the storms will continue well into tomorrow

Enjoying my double mocha in the much-used Henry mug.

An okay weather report for my plans today. "More clouds than sun." High temp predicted is 79* (at 6am it is 67*). Only a 10% chance of rain. Late tonight that jumps to 80% continuing into Sunday.

My gear is in the car and I'm getting ready to go to a black powder shoot with my Trapper 50 CAL pistol. Heading to a fun day.

68 where we are camped near Fayetteville, NC on its way to a projected high of 74 .... sure beats the heck out of the 97 it reached yesterday .... thunderstorms are supposed to move in shortly after noon .... getting ready to cook breakfast for our camping club ....

One more window with some wood rot. Need to remove the whole sill and replace it, scrape and sand and caulk to prep for paint. Pushing to get it done today so I can prime it tomorrow. Have a feeling weather is going to cool off quickly and I have to get the house painted before it does. Went from 90s and too humid to work more than a couple hours to 70s in just a day. Have lowered my expectations to getting one coat on everything this year and finish it out when the weather breaks come spring. Never enough time is seems. Last job of 70 hours a week for 7 years has left me with a whole lot of catch up to do.

50's today, with rain in the forecast. Good gather yesterday, spent several hours waaaaaay up in the high country. Sorry no pics this time, left the cell phone at home. I’ve stopped carrying my cellphone on my person unless I’m specifically expecting an “important” call. It can ride in my saddlebags until I need it. I’d really like to trade my 2014 Dodge Cummins truck on a 1992 model. There’s something great about no computer involvement. The wife isn’t as keen unfortunately...

Ya just take a drive on the motorcycle. Every car in an intersection has there cell phone in there face playing on it or texting while driving down the road. Had to stop on the bicycle path the other night because some young kid had his cell phone in his face and wasnt paying attention. He was weaving all over and I knew he didnt see me. Yelled at him when he got close and he still almost hit me.

I hear ya Al. Makes me just want to go to the cabin on the mountain and never come back to all the crazy ways of society any more. If it were not for family and the grandkids...I probably would!....sorry, just venting
