I know I don't post a lot but I had an experience this past week that I had to share. I contacted Blackhawk via a webform on their site because the waterproof lining on a pack that I had purchased from them had starting to break down and leave a sticky residue on things. I asked if there was a way to stabilize it or maybe remove it as the pack is still in great shape other than that. I received a reply that there wasn't any way to remove or stabilize the lining and that the pack had been discontinued but that they had found one in the warehouse and were shipping it out to me.
I received the replacement pack yesterday and it was a slightly newer design than my original. They never asked for a sales receipt or verified date of purchase, just sent out the new pack. I went through some old email and the original pack was purchased on 8/1/1999 The pack was a week away from being 20 years old and they replaced it no questions asked over a minor issue. What incredible customer service!
Site seems to be OK. Load issue should be resolved now.

JEBar, they make packs, holsters, stocks, and other accessories. The original pack has been all over the world with me and no issues with the stitching, material, or zippers after 20 years. If it weren't for that lining, it may well have lasted another 20. Their address is https://www.blackhawk.com/ and they state that the warranty on their tactical nylon products is the lifetime of the original owner
There's not too many folks out there who stand behind their products like that anymore and I wanted to share with you guys. All I wanted was to clean up my pack, I never in a million years expected a replacement yet it was offered unasked and I had it within a week.

That customer service is right at home here. It ranks right in with the Henry customer service. Thanks for sharing it with us groo. I don't have much in the blackhawk line, but I like what I have.

Always cool to hear reports on good CS from any company, groo. I've stayed with Henry over the years largely due to their off-the-chart CS.
I have two Blackhawk nylon shoulder rigs for revolvers, and they are made out of great materials. Size is the main difference between the two: one for a larger .357 magnum, and smaller for a snubby. I only saw one style offered now on the Blackhawk web site, a lateral-carry shoulder rig. Mine are both vertical carry, which I prefer.
I've not needed any help so far from Blackhawk, and doubt I ever will. These are quality-made products and will last a very long time. Appreciate your post providing kudos for their good CS.
