Happy Anniversary! My better half and I were 30 yrs last December. Is it true the first 40 years are the toughest? Tell me it gets easier!!!

I'm envious of your 48, Dutch. We'll celebrate our 34th later this summer.
Congrats to you and your wife. Just think, before you know it, you will be celebrating the Golden one!

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Having my first Henry mug of coffee with my yogurt. It is darker than night time and looks like a nasty one is headed our way. Maybe wet weather for the next 4 days. I may just pick today for my day to go and get some motor cycles cleaned up at work. That is the good part about no one wanting my job. I can go and come when I want and not get fired.

Re: Our mornin Coffee and Weather
Thanks to all, who sent notes about our attending the funeral yesterday of our dear friend, Lee. My wife appreciated that, too.
We had safe travel to/from KS, the weather was most agreeable and pleasant for an outdoor memorial service --- and it was well-attended. This very kind, thoughtful, and well-liked lady was 93 years old. I believe there were close to 50 people at the service.
My wife knew Lee before we even met, and they were close friends for 46 years. I knew Lee for 33 years. I had the chance to talk with a young lady after the service, who was Lee's financial advisor. Although she only knew her about 5-6 years, she thought very highly of her also. Of course, we were glad to share with the family members, too.
It was a good day. Again, appreciate your kind words.

I wonder if Krispy Kreme would sponsor us. We could use donuts for targets.JEBar wrote:I did my part ..Sir Henry wrote:Happy National Donut Day everyone.
