I posted on a well known gun forum for a year or so before I did something (don't know what it was) but it resulted is being stalked at every post by a self proclaimed expert. Life is to short for that. I like it here.

I hate people that think they know it all. It makes it bad for us that really do know it all.

Gunner and here is about the only two forums where I still post. Might make a post elsewhere once a month.

Except for Henry, Rimfire Central, USA Carry and Firing LIne, I only belong to forums of the brands I own or owned. That includes Hi-Point, Phoenix HP-22, Ruger, S&W (3), Rough Rider, RIA (2) and Taurus.

Rimfire.com, Marlin owners forum, Robalo owners forum, and thehulltruth.com.

BTW, the Robalo owner's forum has the EXACT SAME problem as the Henry forum. A few years ago the original site's owner could not be contacted, so the prominent members started their own forum. Then (you guessed it) the original owner resurfaced, and now we have two forums.....LOL

Yes, it is called the Gunslinger Forum. It is kind of quiet, yet an interesting place to belong to:

Good site! I'm on that one too.

Henry lever action .22's and Heritage single actions seem to be a natural pair.

my first shotgun that would hold more than 2 shells was an Ithaca Model 37 Featherweight slug gun .... without any doubt it's the most accurate slug gun I've ever owned or ever fired .... its also the "kick'n est" shotgun I've ever owned .... that was back in the 2 3/4" era, can't imagine what it would be like to fire a 3" or 3 1/2" shell in that rig .... its long gone but the memories of the shoulder bruises remains .. :?

Yeah, that's their reputation – it's a trade-off for their light weight.

Honestly, it's never been an issue for me, and I've had many 100-round-plus days with them. Perhaps my fondness for the brand prevents me from feeling it.

I could handle low brass loads but firing slugs and buckshot were painful .... I always like the bottom ejection ....
