interesting morning in east central South Dakota .... overnight low of 64, now on its way to a forecasted high of 90 with a 20% chance of rain .... if it does reach 90, it will be the first time this summer .... beautiful morning to sip coffee in a Henry mug and take it easy

Supposed to be in the mid 80s today and sunny which is fine as we are having a family cookout today. So I am loading up all the food etc and getting ready to ENJOY myself for a few hours this afternoon, no shooting hopefully because it is in a city park. Hope everyone has a great day.

74 right now, supposed to get up to 88. Survived the family get together, met great nieces and nephews for the first time and got to spend some time with my brother. Enjoyable but everyone will be on their way home this morning. May be able to get to the range after mowing and try the Kimber 1911 again, see if the new barrel and bushing made a difference. Blue Mountain coffee tases pretty good this morning.

68 with steady rain on its way 75 and a 100% chance of rain for most of the day .... not looking good for the noon reunion of my wife's family that is scheduled for the park behind our camper .... the good news is, only a 20% chance of rain at scene of today's NASCAR race in Long Pond, Pa ... :D . the bad news is, rain here playing havoc with satellite TV reception ...

Last couple posts from Coop, he sounded good; rearing to go, but the Warden was keeping him down. 😁

Rain last night and a real nice sunny day today. Took Badger for a ride in the hills. Week looks warm in the 80's.

Way better summer this year. Last year at this time we were crispy dry and under forest fire alerts. Not to mention thick smoke to breathe every day. So far this year, lots of rain, mild temperatures, and cool nights. Good Lord willing it stays that way into August.

80F today and lots of sunshine. A couple of fires in Montana from what I hear, hope they get 'em under control. It dries out so darn fast with the hot sun and wind.
