Advice from An Old Farmer

Been watching the series 'Yellowstone' lately. I like it. Modern day ranchers. Gonna finish season 1 tonite, then move on to season 2. Didn't know of it till recently, but so far enjoying it.

We went to the Stampede about twenty years ago. Great event! Calgary is such a nice clean city and the folks are very nice as well.

Up at 4:30 for a drive to visit my dad. Probably the last time as he is going downhill quickly. He’s had a good run though, so we are at peace with it. Hope the double espresso keeps me awake on the mountain highway! Luckily (?) I spent a lot of my life running snow cats etc in the night. I’m used to driving 8 hours plus when I should be sleeping!

I'm happy for ya. Enjoy what time you can by refreshing old memories. Spent the last 7 years trying to help elderly relatives across the country so I know where you're coming from. I prefer driving at night as much as I can. Fewer idiots on the road. I'm good for 16+ hours on the road when traveling alone and enjoy every bit of it.
