Not too sure...I have to get my hands on some thin spring steel, and make some parts to get it functioning properly. Needs some wood work too.

'Banding' (strapping) steel makes excellent flat spring material.I have to get my hands on some thin spring steel
I have Used it many times to make flat springs.
