Not a fan, quit watching such when I became an adult.
If it is unbelievable I don't waste my time.
May watch a cartoon with the grandsons, but that's it.

I am a fan of the old stop motion animated films. King Kong on up...

Guess the films...
20 Million Miles to Earth and one of the Sinbad films. :?:

If I never watched anything that was unbelievable I'd never be able to open my eyes.

Correct on the first one....Jason and the Argonauts was the second. Talos the bronze titan. Fun for kids but too slow for current day attention spans.

You were likely thinking of the 7th Voyage of Sinbad, a personal favorite of mine. The movable metal armature from the 20 Million Miles creature puppet was cannibalized for the Cyclops creature in 7th Voyage. There's your trivia for tonight.

We have a couple local air TV stations that air these old flicks quite often. I can't help but take some time out and watch. Been playing Bogart flicks all this week.

My wife and I watch TCM Classic movies more than any other station. They often run a few of these old stop motion gems. When I was a teen, a local movie house ran 7th Voyage on the big screen. Fun to see these old movies the way they were meant to be seen; big screen. We saw the Searchers and Gone with the Wind in theaters too years ago. Intermissions and all.

King Kong vs Godzilla when I was a kid last one of those I saw. Never could get into much scifi and even Star Trek was beyond my attention span. It was highly illogical and if Scotty was here today Id have him beam me up. Cowboys and Indians gets my vote.

Two of my favorites:
'Mysterious Island' (1961)
and
'Clash of the Titans' (1981 and Harryhausens' last movie)
