My neighbor lady called me yesterday for help to unload a pot from her car. She has quite a few pots in a cool area where she has several sheds. After reading Sir Henrys info about Vietnam and China being the best locations for making quality pots as I was unloading it I looked at the label. Made in China! Now emboldened I mentioned to her about China and Vietnam pots and she told me the rest of her pots were all made in Vietnam.

Small world for sure.

I’m having boulders delivered this morning. I’ll have five or six loads.

You got your work cut out for you now Gene. Those look like they might be a challenge to move with the tractor

Those pots look heavy. How are you moving them around without damage?
I bought a hand truck that was designed to lift full 55 gallon drums. The platform is huge and so are the tires.

You can easily spend $2K on just one pot. That’s why getting them 50% off was so important. I have a doctors appointment in Madison to remove another 10% of a kidney so I can afford more pots. Just kidding although I do have my first year checkup on Monday.

How much for a load of boulders?

Awhile ago I was looking at some basalt columns but the large ones are crazy expensive.

A lot of those come from Grant County. I paid $3K for these rocks with one more load of the very biggest coming.

He couldn’t lift two of the very biggest. They were the size of a Volkswagen so I got an extra full load of these size that he rounded up. I bought a specific pile. Neither one of us knew the big ones were in the pile. I could have pressed him to deliver however I chose to accept his offer of a full load.

This is a small community and word gets around. The man, actually entire family are well liked in the community. I ask around before I do business with someone as a lot of these deals are done on a handshake. I’m told not to do business with certain people.

I picked up four of the custom countertops for the Craftsman tool boxes. I only installed two of the four.

Thanks. It’s a labor of love. This morning I found some great stuff at an estate sale. These three hay hooks.

I have a lot of projects going at the same time so the place doesn’t look finished. I figure I can wrap everything up in two summers so in a little over a year it will be looking completed even though I’ll always be making improvements.
