Set up my chair shooting position 40 yds. from target and shot 4 rounds which were Laser Cast 405 gr. cast lead bullets loaded over 13 gr. of Unique.
Makes a very comfortable,for .45-70, plinking load.
First shot was high and left and looked to be a keyhole for some reason. Second shot was more centered but still high. Made elevation adjustment and shots 3 and 4 delivered a very nice 2 shot group!
Then I set up a field of my knock over plates and several sillywet targets and also had the 3 swinging plates back up with new bolts.
From 35-40 yds. it was fun time watching the heavy lead do it's thing. The 6 inch steel knock overs would do several flips after a hit and the swinging plates would almost go all the way around. Much easier to sight the front bead on target with the wider notched rear sight.

And now for Big Al I made a video of it!
Well at least you get to hear the steel get hit and have a great view of the hammer falling!
Was great to get out and shoot today and all of next week looks like good shootin' weather too!
