Ranges out here have been closing early since opening from covid. Around 6, by the time the better half gets home, that's a no go.
Oh and that other thing that happened this year.
I never take myself seriously....

I posted one middle of Aug., you never commented though.
Cooler weather coming more will get out.
I'm shooting the 38-55 off the deck now, but just ringing gongs.

Just a prop for the picture. 😉

I must have missed that one Randy. Is the .38-55 case slightly tapered like the .45-70?

Yes sir, it and the 444 also, all 3 have that slight taper.
It has a very mild recoil, and is a pleasure to shoot.

Probably lack of participation, and comments just like the one I started Monday morning. Only myself and JEB have commented. Probably be my last, and it's even a damn Henry rifle. I had more participation in my last thread about my Savage 6.5.

Now the reason is Honey Do's and Doc appointments. I should get to shoot tomorrow. :D

Don’t let that stop you. People often don’t reply to my range reports yet I keep posting. Sometimes that post that didn’t get a response will end up with a dozen replies a week later.

Yep, I agree. Sometimes I plain miss them somehow or get distracted[easily done!]. I enjoy the postings here. Keep at it folks.

Hey, I post mostly about air guns and I know that bores a lot of people to death, but I still post. In fact, I should post more range reports with the air guns, even though I only get the usual responses from my forum friends. I totally agree that we need more range posts, no matter what the gun, to keep the forum healthy. Will try to do better.

Don’t count me out. I’m still fairly new here, but I’m enjoying reading everyone’s posts and pictures. I’m getting used to everyone and feeling more comfortable starting new posts and replying to your posts. I sure wouldn’t do it on purpose, but I been more worried about posting to much or saying wrong thing. I’m only shooting 410 and .22’s now, mostly 410. Don’t know if many folks interested in talking about 410’s.

I don't currently own a 410, but I've always enjoyed them when I've had them. I know several members that do have them and shoot them. They're actually a very interesting shotgun round. Post away.

Well, it was too hot to go to the range in July and August. I'm just now getting back to the range, and honestly, I don't always do a range report. I sometimes think no one really cares how I shoot, nor should they. I'll post a target now and again.

410 is one of my favorites.

Certainly no worries about posting too much. We enjoy your input about whatever you're shooting, or just whatever you want to post. Lots of sub forums here. Post away!
