I BET YOU DO RUN OUT QUICK WITH ONLY FOUR OF EACH ON HAND :D  ;)

Just kidding. Those look great. What type of bullet are you using in the 45-70. Looks like a coated bullet of some sort from the pic.

Processing some 9mm brass today, meaning, I'm uniforming the primer pockets and the flash holes. Checking the primer pockets with a Go - No Go gauge. The gauge lets me know if the flash hole is out of spec, for example: loose primer pocket and that I'm cutting each primer pocket hole the same depth.

The flash hole is cut using a tool that cut's the flash hole the same on each brass casing and it deburr's the inside of the flash hole. By doing this, it cut's down flyers and helps the powder have a more uniform burn. When I say flyer, I mean, the round does not land were you aimed for it to land.

Myself, I'm a big bore guy (45acp, 357 Magnum and 44 Magnum) but I use this 9mm ammo to help my wife when she shoots with me. I have a match grade Springfield Armory (XD-9) 9mm that I built for her and when she shoot's it, I hand load ammo for it.

I like them so far. I think I'll order some more for the 44 mag.

That's me. Except for the gentleman part! Big Boy brass not steel.

That was fixed a while back and haven't had a problem since. Many rounds through the gun since then.

New here at the board but not to reloading. I just finished a bunch of for accuracy, lower power .45 colt loads for my Henry Steel .45 colt. 5 each from start to higher end in .2 gr. increments, with 300 gr. rf and swc bullets cast from cowws. Powders used so far are BE-86 and Unique for the 300s and then a few 252 swc with A#5 and Red Dot. Weather has been all rain this week end but I see some beautiful weather ahead. Then it's out back to the range.

Henry will not let you be dissatisfied with their workmanship. Let us know when you get it back and are able to try it out.

Last few days I've been cleaning brass. I've shot up most of the ammo for 44 mag and 45/70 that I had made. One more batch to run through the vibrator and all is clean. Then I can make some more!!!!

One of the 300 gr 45/70 coated bullets somehow did a long cycle in my cleaner with a load of cases. Looks like it just went in. No difference at all. Tough coating. Nice unintentional test.

I need to pick up some more brass and bullets.

I have several thousand pieces of starline brass on hand and if I had to do it again, I would. I have 1000 44 Special and 1000 44 Magnum of starline brass on hand that I've lost count of how many times I've reloaded them. I just inspect them, clean them and inspect them again and then hand load them again. I gonna keep doing this until they show signs of failure. Squatch buy you some, you wont regret it one bit.
