didn't see that part, wish I had .... they keep saying they will get the race run tonight but is doesn't appear it will start any time soon

we lived in Charlotte during that era .... Sounds like some great days you had back then.
The pre-race show is still real good.
Had a short story on Mario Andretti and just finished one on one of my favorite all time drivers, Sterling Marlin. Along with some great coverage of his Dad, Coo Coo.
