Butte gets a bad rap, but it seems to be a nice place near some great country. And it was the home of Elmer Keith.

Been through Butte a number of times. I'd have a hard time settling for air and water quality, there, with so many better places in Montana. That's me, though. Each to their own, as always.

I've never been to Butte and I've never heard that song before.
I can relate to the song to a point. Is Butte a hard place too?

Copper mining tailings are right beside the town.

I’m with you on air and water. Still it’s tempting to buy a million dollar house for half price.
