I'm too out of shape to shovel snow.
AMEN !!!!!
after hitting a high of 52 earlier this afternoon our temp has dropped to 45 at 6:45PM ..... after 3 straight subfreezing nights, our low is forecasted to drop to 36 .... even though they say our overnight temps tonight will not fall below freezing, they forecast a coating of ice is likely .... this morning Maureen had her final physical therapy session .... she's worked hard and has met or exceeded every goal in working her way back from knee replacement ..... she still has areas that she wants to improve and with her determination, I have no doubt that she will do so .... we had to call our local RV repairman and have him take care of some issues with our camper's underbelly material .... a few years ago I took care of such repairs but the day of me crawling around under our camper a history ...

Low sixties tonight and mid seventies tomorrow. The good news is Monday is my last radiation treatment. After that I hope my chest will stop being so red after a few weeks.

The low last night was -9F. It’s currently 33F in the shop and getting warmer. It needs to be 65 at 5 pm for cards.

Is the wood stove the only source of heat in the shop?

Not summer here either but 98.5 at 6pm can’t be pleasant.
30 now with a couple of inches of snow expected this morning. High will probably be in the mid 30’s. A big what the weather geeks call an atmospheric river is heading our way. Lots of rain expected as this “river” will bring a warm up with it. Hopefully it will stay cold enough in the mountains to stay snow.
Not much on tap for today other than the Gonzaga Bulldog’s men’s basketball team playing the Kentucky Wildcats at 4:00pm out time. Should be a great game as both teams are in the top 20.

over time the reliability of our area's weather forecasting has shown considerable improvement but this morning hearkens back to days of not too long ago .... around here ice and/or snow is pretty rare and when its in the forecast, lots of folks go nuts .... yesterday they called for ice/snow this morning and as we've come to expect, our schools delayed opening for 2 hours and the DOT salted the bridges .... well, some ice/snow fell up near the Virginia state line but with our temps hovering around 39 degrees all we go is a light, cold rain .... our biggest local TV station must have close to 10 reporters running the roads with traffic reports ..... 39 at 9:30, our high today is predicted to be 41, tonight's low 34

Yes although the propane range/oven puts off a lot of heat too when in use. It got up to 73F inside last night. I’m going to Madison on Sunday for three days. The gang wants to watch the Packer/Bears game in the shop while I’m gone. It’s the neighborhood hangout.

We received 3” then 4” of snow about ten days ago. Then at night we get a half to a full inch of snow. Not very much but those half inch snowfalls are adding up. It’s currently 11F and snowing.
