In the middle of a storm, looks like the pictures you see of a hurricane on tv. Everyone have a great day!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
just returned from picking up a grandson after a medical appointment and getting him to school ....82 with a RealFeel of 98 at 11AM .... last night was our first in over a month that the temp dropped into the 60's .... high for today forecasted to be 90 with no chance of rain listed .... nothing else on the agenda for today but that can change in an instant
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Woke up to 60 here in camp with blue skies and a bit breezy. Lake isn’t white capping but some pretty good rollers. The stormy days are behind us and we expect the mid 80’s and sunshine for the day.
Yesterday we hit the beach with the dogs even tho the weather (don’t have a clue guessers) predicted thunderstorms, wind and rain we had nice weather. Got some rain on the cruise back to the launch but nothing of note.
On the beach somebody must have poured out some grease or some food type stuff and our dogs wouldn't leave it alone. We kept after them but they ingested more sand than we thought. Last night the younger dog started puking and didn’t feel well. Took him out for a poop and he pooped a diarrhea type sand. Several more trips out during the night and he started pooping nothing but sand but formed like normal poop.
The older dog is doing better but has sand in his more normal poop too. Younger dog threw up several times on our walks. Not sure what today will bring, we plan to call our vet here in a bit when she opens.
Poop report completed!

Pretty crappy that someone would discard something like that on a lake beach.Hatchdog wrote: ↑Wed Jul 23, 2025 11:19 amWoke up to 60 here in camp with blue skies and a bit breezy. Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
60 again here in camp. Very still with the lake like a mirror. High should be in the mid 80’s with sunshine.
Took a boat ride yesterday planning on cruising up to the location of our largest wildfire in the area. It’s about 15 miles up the lake. Got 2/3 rds of the way there and ran into a storm so turned around. Stupid storm followed us back down the lake so we should have kept going.
We got some winds and there was lightning reported in the area but we didn’t experience it.
Didn’t have to consult with our vet for our dog’s sand pooping. Thankfully he worked all the sand out and returned to normal doggy-do.
They both say hi!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Back home from camp. It’s 66 this morning with 83 expected later. Another day of 25 mph wind gusts, same as yesterday. Had a couple of new fires break out yesterday including one very close to my son’s place which is downwind and directly in the path of it. Thankfully the awesome fire dept got it knocked down and limited it to 5 acres with no structures lost.
Today is put stuff away day and get the boat washed day. Did a lot of dancing and now I have to pay the fiddler.
