54 and sunny today with 90 or so the expected high. Hotter tomorrow and Wednesday and then cooling down into the 80 for the rest of the week and weekend. 84 expected on the 4th of July which is a pretty nice temp, warm enough for the lake folks but not too hot for the city folks. I’m planing a golf outing for the 4th which will be my first time golfing in a month due to being too busy and then too sick.

Speaking of sick, my wife finally tested negative for Covid so yesterday I picked up my son from his friends place and brought him here. He expects to be here for 3-5 weeks or as long as his home health care continues. He’s living in his RV and the health care folks don’t like to do treatments in an RV. He is on a wound vacuum and he has no stitches or staples holding him together. The theory is this method lets the wound heal from the inside which I guess is better.

77 RealFeel of 86 at 9AM .... forecasted high 91 .... overnight low 73 with "showers and a thunderstorm; storms can bring flooding downpours and localized damaging wind gusts" .... Maureen has a medical appointment shortly after noon .... couple of days with highs in the 80's on tap but the 90's will return all too soon

56 and sunny this morning but it’s expected to be a hot one with a high of 98 here in Deer Park. That’s stupid hot for us. Thankfully the cooldown starts tomorrow with highs in the mid 80’s for the holiday weekend. Maybe a bit of a storm tomorrow but it’s expected to be dry. Winds and possible lightning could get ugly with wildfires. Fingers crossed to no lightning.

I’ll get out for a couple of hours this morning and straighten out the shop. No plans for beyond mid day as it will be too hot.

This morning 59' in N.California. Maybe 87' with afternoon thunderstorms. Red flag warning in effect because of dry conditions and possible lightning strikes.

101 here today. I've got a couple of chores to get done before it gets too hot and then I'm in the house for the rest of the day. Have some weed spraying I need to get done but it's been too windy, maybe I can get some done this evening when it cools off some.

They are constructing a large apartment building here and I noticed the workers quitting for the day when I drove by around 3pm yesterday. It's not located in a residential area so I imagine they could start very early. Most construction workers around here have gone to a 4 day work week, is that a nation wide practice now?

Fair, 70°F, Humidity 73%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 29.99 in
Dewpoint 61°F
Visibility 10.00 mi
Sunny, with a high near 85.
Southwest wind around 5 mph
A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm.
I'm hoping to get the deck staining completed before going to the gun club
this afternoon. Then beer and wings with the group.

61 and partly cloudy this morning with a high in the lower 90’s expected. We have a red flag warming in place for high temps and wind gusts to 45 mph. Should a fire spark today it’s going to get ugly fast. Also very low humidity. Thankfully a cool down starts tomorrow with highs in the low to mid 80’s for the next several days.

Mrs hatchdog has a couple of medical appointments today. I’m planning on driving her into town and hitting Lowe’s while she’s in the doc and Home Depot while she’s in the dentist chair. Long story short but I need to pick up some garbage bins as I might have to start taking my trash to the transfer station. Also I want to mount some retractable straps on my trailer for the bins so I don’t have to fight straps. Always fun to have some hardware store shopping to do.

Old Keurig died this morning so I have a couple of new spares in boxes. I’ll have to dig through basement storage shelves and find one. Everyone have a great day!

first up this morning was taking Maureen to a medical appointment .... during the ride back we drove through periods of light rain, per Accuweather heavier rain should move in within 30 or so minutes .... 80 with a RealFeel of 90 at 10AM .... forecasted high to reach 82 before falling to 69 overnight .... our mobile RV Tech is due to work on our camper around noon .... no clue if that's still on or night .... since we don't have any plans to use our camper again until September or October, there is no real hurry

Do tell. What's with that?

54' and sunny this morning in N.California. Maybe 88 later. Plan was for us to go out on the tri-toon, but now that is up in the air. Some mild sickness in the kids. Might be 103 at the lake so maybe not a good idea today.
