Weather you like or respect the man he was still a president of the US and deserves the respect of all.
I lived in the DC area when he was president and could relate several stories about him, but I have one
I like better. One day I and my 11 year old son were at National Airport waiting for my 16 year old daughter
to come in on a flight from Florida. It landed but she did not get off. She had missed her flight.
As I was frantically trying to question Eastern Airlines about her whereabouts, my son went missing. He
disappeared into the crowd.
I found out my daughter was coming in on the next flight and now to find my son. I walked the area around the
arrival gates when I saw a large crowd gathered around someone so I worked my way through the crowd and
got to the front just in time to see my son shaking hands with none other than Billy Carter as the flash bulbs
were popping. Next morning the picture was on the front page of the newspaper.
