I like Chock full o Nuts with Cafe Luizianne mixed in. I use a Cuisinart drip maker usually.



If I really feel peppy, I will percolate it on the stove top in my Corningware percolator from 40-50 years ago. It takes a lot of attention, so I don't normally. I had a pristine electric Corningware percolator and I used it daily until the cord melted. Apparently they were known for that. I found it for $5.oo in an antique store.

Mary subscribes to a coffee service called Bocca Java. They send a different coffee or two on a regular basis. Some are good and some are not.

I drink my coffee black and have done so since my teens. I usually drink a pot a day. A holdover from working during the midnight shift in another life.

You can ask for it ground, or use a grinder like mine.

Do you find the freshly ground coffee a lot better than ordering it already ground from Canamo Island? I see too many bad reviews for the grinders in the 50-60 dollar range. Your grinder looks nice but a $100+ grinder is not in the budget right now.

I definitely like the coffee, but will need to change my order soon from whole bean to ground if I decide to wait on getting a grinder.

No generally, i find that its pretty on par. It depends more on matching your grind to the type of coffee you make. If you find the grind they provide good for your brewing type, then I'd stick with that. I probably would not order the 4lbs that I do, but a pound at a time delivered on a schedule that I use it up at? yeah, i'd order it ground. When I travel I usually take half a pound of ground coffee with me.

Thanks, I only plan on using my Keurig for now so will order it ground. You get a discount and free shipping being in their club plan so I will need to order 2lbs at a time.
