Large roaster with a lid
I used a pork shoulder, but anything works, e.g.
western ribs, spare ribs, sausage...whatever.
About 2lbs. or so of meat
2-3 bags/jars of kraut, drained
1 large onion
1 red or yellow bell pepper
Season with garlic powder, onion powder, a pinch of chili powder, salt & pepper
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 12oz beer of choice
1 cup or so of water
Cover & bake at 350deg for 2-3 hrs
stirring occasionally
And you got 5 beers left
ENJOY
Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry
