79 with a RealFeel of 81 at 6PM .... overcast with no wind .... got my annual Covid Booster and Flu shot today .... a single day of rain and at least a week of lower temps is supposed to kick in tomorrow .... neither arm is sore, that's kind of rare ....

It almost frosted last night. I’m ready for fall/winter and indoor projects like finishing the interior of the oddy.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
38 this morning with a nice day with a high of 70 predicted. Lots of sunshine now but rain coming in this weekend. Sure hope so.
Got the last of next years firewood cut and stacked. I got to the point that I didn’t want to lift the rounds any higher so quit cutting. I’ll split what is cut next spring for the 26/27 winter and then cut what is left for the 27/28 winter. Nice to have that project done for this year.
I was going to post some pics but they won’t load. Interesting, all the posts I made yesterday are gone. Gremlins or early Halloween pranks maybe

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
we have a surprisingly muggy 71 degree temperature at 10AM ... they say a short rain should kick in shortly .... forecasted high of 79 later this afternoon followed by an overnight low of 55 .... we've already retrieved our '05 Chevy Trailblazer from a local independent garage .... her odometer shows just under 170,000 miles and from all indications runs strong ....

My posts from yesterday morning are missing, but those later in the day are still there.
I keep getting hit by the auto logoff time-out. I'm not fast enough to stay ahead of it.
51' and cloudy this morning. Maybe 62 later. Expecting rain Fri-Mon.

Fair, 34°F, Humidity 100%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 30.39 in
Dewpoint 34°F
Visibility 10.00 mi
Increasing clouds, with a high near 69.
South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
We attended a town board meeting last night where they discussed issues with a road
at the south end of our lake. It needs repair badly but the township does not have the
money to fix it properly. Instead they will make it a seasonal road.
I used to be on a lot of boards and even chaired several. I find in my later years I do not
think I could tolerate that anymore. I think nowadays I would be saying, "BS, sit down and
shut up!". "Who's next?"
