53 and overcast this morning. High only in the upper 70’s as we have a cold front coming in as I speak. Possible rain mid day, sure hope so. Nice week ahead with more fall like temps.
...
Rain came in this morning. Not a lot. Open areas wet. Under the trees mostly dry ground. Looks like it is done here. You might get some unless the Cascades bring the rest of it down.

55' and cloudy this morning. Supposed to clear up about noon and be mostly sunny and maybe 73'. Tues/Wed maybe 90's.

49 on my thermometer this morning with the official temp here 46. Feels a bit cool. High today in the 70’s with a couple of low 80’s this week. Yesterday we got some rain, about 45 minutes worth. The exact same 45 minutes I was mowing the lawn. started when I did and ended at the same time too. The last night we had a distant thunder storm but more rain on us. Nice!

More firewood splitting and stacking this morning. Winter’s coming… :D

Thanks Dave…

A brisk one this morning at 44. I broke down and turned the heat on for the first time. It was 66 in the house and just a little bit uncomfortable. High of 78 so it will be a nice day. More of the same for several days.

Finished up splitting what firewood I have for the year. It won’t be enough however in the “que” I have probably 2-3 years worth on hand. It’s too wet to split and burn this year so I’ll just cut it up into rounds and stack for next springs splitting. Got the splitter cleaned up and fresh oil and treated gas installed. Time for its winter nap.
