Yeah, the old PAC 12 is no longer. The Cougs and the Beavers of Oregon St the last two remaining PAC 12 members have adsorbed several Mountain West teams to rebuild the conference. It won’t be a power 5 like it used to be but should still be some competitive football. Also the Gonzaga Bulldogs basketball teams (and all other sports) will be joining it too just no football at Gonzaga. That is going to be fun and a step up for the Zags in competition.Sir Henry wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 8:27 amGo Cougars. Sad what happened to the PAC12. Do they still play the Apple Cup?Hatchdog wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 7:20 amGood morning, up way too early so no local weather report for another three hours. But it’s currently 55 and dark and as I recall we are supposed to have a nice day with a high of 78. Might be a little smoky. The Washington State Cougars football game is on tv at 12:30 so I’ll enjoy that.
My wife’s cousin’s husband who is a contractor is coming over this morning to give her an estimate on some kitchen remolding. She wants to lower the eating bar to counter height and have a big expanse of counter. The part she wants lowered is full of electrical and I can’t convince her of how much work that is going to involve. I can hear the cash register ringing already![]()

I don’t follow the old PAC 12 teams anymore except the Cougs. Interesting the Zags joined. Spokane sure likes basketball.Hatchdog wrote: ↑Sat Sep 13, 2025 11:00 amYeah, the old PAC 12 is no longer. today (Saturday) has been a busy one .... with Maureen pretty much confined to bed following her surgery on Wednesday, pretty much everything associated with our normal routine has been thrown out of sink .... our kids are helping out and that's much appreciated .... Maureen started physical therapy yesterday and will have three sessions a week for the next two weeks .... happy to see her doing well .... tomorrow's weather looks good but they predict rain for most of the coming week

^^^^^^ saw those warm temps across the eastern half of the country.
Here it’t a balmy 58 and I don’t know what the high is expected to be. However we may see some rain today and for that we are thankful!
Continued with some tree limbing yesterday, need to get whatever needs trimming done so I can pile the limbs and cover them with a tarp for winter burning. While working on the piles I already have I discovered two dead trees located pretty close to my burn area. That will make piling the limbs easy. Depending on the rain I’ll cut them down today after (sadly) the Seahawks lose to the Steelers this morning.

65 at 9AM with almost no wind and low humidity .... today's high anticipated to be 82, falling back to an overnight low of 61 .... no rain today but its said to be on the way .... nothing much on tap for today, mostly taking care of Maureen as she continues to recover from knee replacement surgery
