Nice!!
Yeah, I hear ya, on the ammo being to expensive to shoot.
I load for this one also.
Mine doesn't work as well with the shorts, so I only load the long brass.

Brass is hard to come by so I take good care of it. It can be formed from 32 SW Long but it takes a special die
for it. I was able to go on the Marlin Forum and find folks who form it and sell it so I have a supply.

I also installed a Vermeer peep sight on mine. No drilling required, it just fits into existing screw holes.
Gotta go, I have an appointment to get my car worked on.

I've given thought to having mine reamed to 32 s&w more than once.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 10:09 amBrass is hard to come by so I take good care of it. It can be formed from 32 SW Long but it takes a special die

Much easier to find brass and much easier to load than the heeled bullets.

Right you are Randy, all modern stuff. I’d love to have a 32-20 or a 32 LC in a lever rifle like yours and Coops. Being a reloader I could even afford to shoot it.Vaquero wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 9:27 amI'm betting not, probably something a bit more modern.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Tue Aug 19, 2025 2:14 pmNow that wouldn't be for .32 Long Colt would it? I have a Marlin 1892 in that caliber that I reload.
Oh Wow! Coop, did know you had one of those also.
Mine is suppose to be from around 1899.

53 this morning heading to the mid 80’s later with lots of sunshine. Hot this weekend with the lows in the lower to mid 60’s. That’s wrong, glad we’re not sleeping in the rv.

Hurricane Erin is spinning by NC's Outer Banks .... 74 with a RealFeel of 84 at 8:30AM under a high cloud cover .... today's forecasted high is 85 dropping back to an overnight low of 65 .... today is Thursday, next mention of thunderstorms isn't until Sunday evening .... attending a morning funeral is the only thing on today's agenda

53 again this morning. Just now getting light and it’s looking to be a nice day. Last day in the 80’s before the next heat wave arrives with temps in the mid 90’s. Go away! Saturday is the charity sporting clays shoot and Sunday is golf. Both are going to be hot events. Overnight lows for the next several nights are expected to be in the 60’s. Higher in the urban areas of Spokane and I feel bad for the folks living in hot areas without air conditioning and hot overnight temps not allowing for a cool down.
