On one hand I like the odds of winning for the 4 of us who have submitted entries. But on the other hand it is a sad commentary that there are almost as many judges as entries.
Since there was no mention of the prize, won't people be surprised when the winner posts photos of his brand new Henry rifle.

If I thought that would be the prize, I would resign as a judge and post an entry!!

Now why would you do that?

You would have no guarantee of winning the prize whereas the compensation from working as a judge is a certainty.

I would sell my part ownership in the forum so I could have a chance too.

If the judges, administrators and owners would quit just for a chance to win a rifle, then for the sake of the forum we had better inform Mr. Imperato that it would not be a good idea for Henry to donate a rifle as a prize.

Don't know about that, but with all the funds rolling in from your judging duties I am sure that you will be able to purchase another Henry before the contest winners receive one as their prize.

I haven't named this month's prize and no one really asked. We are having a contest. If only four want to enter so be it. It does make the odds better.

I'm staying a Judge. Why would I give up the guaranteed wage and benefit package I have now
It's like working for the White House, a couple days a month, read a couple things and go golfing [or whatever the H they do]
