►Knives-N-Guns ◄
Looked around a little and could not find a thread for knives and guns ????
So here is a couple to start ,,,, .
Just my personal OCD but I try to somehow match them up , Handle material , color , vintage or purpose , something.
Here is a model 34 and a Rigid knife both done in shed antler.
Or a Buckeye in 32-20 and an un-named custom both in Iron wood.
Maybe a theme ?
How about a 32 gun in a pocket for fun , and a razor in his shoe.
Add some more and show what ya got.

Re: ►Knives-N-Guns ◄
Some of you may remember my old Match Gun from my PPC days. She is old, and not as pretty as she used to be, but she can still shoot, as these 24 rounds at 25 yards can attest.
The sighting shots aren't centered, but once I got the sights adjusted and smoked for a better picture, SHE was on target, and SHE stayed on target.
Back in the day, when I was better at MY job, she held a much tighter group.
A member of my Woodnet woodworking group had begun making grips for the 1911, and asked for input from the peanut gallery and testing for fit from the gang. I sent him a flat rate box filled with various 1911 sized cutoffs from my shop to use in knocking out the test grips, and to make grips to sell when the time came. I asked him to make me a pair from the spalted maple that came from beside our walkway on the farm in VA and from a piece of colobola. He did. They came out great. I told him when he had time, knock out a set of Burled Walnut, and send me the bill...
The old gal wears the pair of Maple grips, which hold special meaning because WE planted a twig ordered from a catalog when we first bought the farm, and it grew into a beautiful silver maple. We took that tree down years later because the bugs, and a evil little woodpecker after them, had killed it. When I started to cut it up, I noticed the beautiful spalting in the grain and stacked it to dry,. I have been making boxes and things from it for years. The knife in the picture has scales from the same tree.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
