Finding my history

Post by Dahliathemeh » Mon Mar 16, 2020 1:23 pm

I've been quiet lately, just because life. All the insanity as of late trying to keep husband calm. Starting a workout regimen, and work, etc. Mommin' and stuff.
Back to the subject at hand. For Christmas my better half got me a ancestry kit. I took my samples and sent them out. I got my results in in February. Since then I have only got in contact with 1 new family member. I am hoping to find more.
I tried the kit to find answers for my family. My mom's dad named her and then disapeared. Her mom was an alcoholic that had almost nothing to do with raising my mom. Her grandma raised her.
My dad was given up for adoption after he was born. He was child # 12, 13.
So this leads to questions all my life about backgrounds not only about my parents backgrounds, but my own as well. So for years I have known myself as being Mexican and German. This is furthest from the truth.
I never take myself seriously....

There is no greater protection against evil on the rampage than a loaded firearm in the hands of a free man.
