In 357 magnum, I've used these:

Remington HTP 125 gr SJHP
Fiocchi 158 gr JHP
Winchester 110 gr JHP
Perfecta 158 FMJ
Sellier & Bellot 158 gr FMJ
Remington Golden Sabre 125 gr BJHP

In 38 special, I've used these:

Winchester 130 gr FMJ
Remington UMC 158 gr LRN

I've shot these ammo brands in my .357 BBB, model H006M. Same rifle model that CT_Shooter shoots. These ammo flow in/out quite smoothly, and if I get an FTF, usually I'm not handling the lever correctly. I like to try various ammo (mostly .357 Magnum) in my Henry, and have had very few to no issues with most of these.

The .38 Special ammo are these.
Fiocchi 158gr FMJ
Herters 158gr FMJ
HPR 158gr JHP


The .357 Magnum ammo are these.
Armscor 158gr FMJ
Black Hills 125gr JHP; 158gr CNL
Fiocchi 158gr JHP; 158gr Extrema XTP HP
PerFecta 158gr FMJ
Rem Golden Sabre 125gr JHP
WIN 110gr JHP
Finally, two .357 Magnum brands I chose for deer hunting: Black Hills 158gr JHP and Buffalo Bore 140gr Barnes XPB
