What did you do at your reloading bench today?
I just wet tumbled around 1000 cases: about 500 of 9mm, 350 - .357 Mag, and 150 - 38SPL
Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Loaded up 100 rounds in 158 grn Nosler hollow points over 13.8 grns of 296. Will take them out soon.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.
Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Nothing yet cause Im at work. But I might load some 158gr Zero bullets tonight.

I just resized 32-20 cases into 25-20 cases.
Rim is not as thick as the real thing but my Wilson case gauge can't tell the difference.
One dummy I made was not catching on extractor but I had a bulb in the neck from screwing up the bullet seating. I jostled the lever and it engaged.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Well not really at the reloading 'desk' but out in the shop.
I had about 25 old rounds of .30 Luger ammo I pulled the bullets from. I had to come up with a 'creative' way to pull them but it was quick and worked well.
They are 93 grain JSP so I'll probably try about 10 grains of Unique with them for .30-30.
I am HOPING they don't turn out to be some incredibly accurate load as I don't think this bullet style is readily available but it's one way to use up old components!

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
I prepped 30, .30-40 Krag Hornady cases for my recently acquired Model 1898 Krag carbine which was manufactured in 1900. It's in excellent condition with a shiny bore & prominent rifling. The wood has no dings and only a couple surface scratches. I am shooting both 180 gr and 220 gr Hornady Interlock bullets above moderately slow powders. I will continue to test recipes that will be most comfortable for the "Old Girl". If I can ever find an 1873 Trapdoor Springfield Carbine, I will have the complete line of U.S. standard issue military rifles from 1873 up through 1965. It would be fairly easy to acquire an M16 rifle, but years ago I swore to myself I would never own an assault rifle.

Finished loading 300 rds of .223 . Brought my son over 90 of them, since he supplies me with a lot of once fired brass. Hey! It beats working. Lol.

Re: What did you do at your reloading bench today?
Using the newly reformed 25-20 brass I prepared 20 ea of two loads I have chronograph data on, just to see if there a difference.
My plan right now is to see how well a 1140fps 86gr MBC cast bullet knocks down targets.
And settings for 1450fps and the same 86g bullet.
