Hiking Annette Lake

Post by Sir Henry » Sat Jun 11, 2016 10:49 am

I went hiking with the Y group on Thursday. I updated to Windows 10 and it messed with my computer and programs so I'm just now posting.

We saw these two strange people in the parking lot.

Here is the gang. We did pretty good for a bunch of old folks. Peter, on the right, is 72 years old and we hiked 11 miles total. Sung and I got back 40 minutes before everyone else but everyone made it.

Even Paris the dog made it. Here is typical Northwest forest trail.

Glad I wasn't here when these rocks fell.

Peter and Ester are a couple and always seem to be at the end.

We can't leave these two kids alone.

Thanks for the report and the photos. I always enjoy the beautiful trails and foliage. Those photos make you feel like you are right there on the trail!

It looks like nice country to be in.

By the way, those trails look like super highways compared to our Adirondack trails.

Great pictures as always. You have so many nice places to go hiking.

My daughter and son-in-law are in Rocky Mountain National Park this week on vacation (we are babysitting our two-year old grandson, a whole other story) and they ran into a foot of snow while hiking to Emerald Lake today.
