Yes as in wanting to try this powder which gives some of the black powder expierence without the corrosive effects of real black powder.
From my Colt 45 test yesterday, with a video link result in the Range Report section, was very pleased with the results.
That load according to the Alliant data should have been close to 900 FPS. assuming they used a 5.5 inch barrel and it felt like a nice load.
After firing 16 rounds, which is all I had left in that particular bullet to load, the bore looked to just have a light coating of residue that was a bit sticky
but cleaned out easily with a quick spray let it soak of Ballistol and some bore brushing. No leading was in the barrel and everything cleaned up nicely. I did notice a coating of a tacky feeling carbon on the outside of the cylinder but it too wiped off easily with some Ballistol.
Will load some more of these for ocassional use when I order up some more lead bullets.
It was fun though!!
Note... I have 6 lbs. of this powder which is no longer being made and looks like a few suppliers have some left in stock.
