I answered "yes". I do have a permit, but I've never carried.

Those of you that carry, might be interested in listening to Armed American Radio on Sunday night and during the week on your local A.M. station. The host always says"carry on carry often don't leave your cave without your club". Check your local listing for the A.M. station in your area.

Yep, and I try not to leave home without it. Can't carry at work, apparently the company prefers to pay for a dead employee rather than face a law suit. :?
My wife recently surprised me by saying she would like to get her own gun.

There is no place anywhere here in Sequim that I feel a need to carry but I do keep a loaded gun in my car at all times. If I am going to be over in Seattle for any reason I do carry.

I carry everyday and am lucky to be able to carry at work.

I don't leave home with out it, a gun is on me from the time I get up till I go to bed. It's just something I've gotten used too. I live out in the country but the town I work in has a very bad meth and heroin problem just like so many other towns across America.

There are robberies even out in the country. Most of my relatives have their CCW and most of my friends.

I do believe a CCW does you no good unless you take further training and actually shoot on a regular bases.

No such thing in Canada. We only allow the criminals to do that. However a guy I know last year forgot to unload his hunting rifle, put it behind the seat of his truck, was pulled over at a regular check stop by the RCMP and issued a $500 fine.

The neighbors on either side of me have their permits and I used them as a reference when applying for mine. I carry, but not every day, everywhere. Maybe I should, maybe I will be sorry one day. Just because of the environment in which I live, is not a crime ridden area, I know that bad things can happen anywhere and there is more of a heroin problem in this area than there was years ago. I carry if I am going to the big city, also if I am going out at night, especially late at night. And also when I carry large amounts of money.

The 3 times I need a gun only 1 of them was in a bad area . One of the times was in 5 mile from the near house in the boonies with 4 indians drinking under a shade tree and blocked the trail . I was on my dirt bike with my 8 year old son was riding on my bike with me and I could around on that part of the trail . After pointing at them and a few choice words they left the area . I carried a sub compact 6 shot 1911 Detonics combat master which had some unique features . The cycle rate is faster then a normal 1911 and allow me wins a few speed matches at steel plates . Below is a video of my Detonic and how it worked .
