Re: Morning chuckle
I love that. It's funny, but it's not.
We went to lunch with my Daughter, Son-in-law, and granddaughter last Sunday. (NO... they know better.)
There was a family of six at a table nearby, and everyone had their phones out. The waiter came and was trying to take the orders and the phones only dropped long enough to order. When he walked away, up went the phones. Meal came, the phones went on the table beside the plates, and up and down they went as they chirped for texts thru the whole meal. conversations at the table were chopped and broken and sounded like cell conversations with bad reception as all parties stopped talking every time there as a chirp to see if it was "Them".
We enjoyed our lunch, played with the granddaughter and caught up on things, and had a great afternoon.
It was a good day. No phones during the entire meal. We all checked them when we got back to the cars.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.
