Last summer hurrah -- Labor Day Holiday

Post by PT7 » Fri Aug 31, 2018 7:14 pm

Times are again changing as tomorrow starts September, and the first day of autumn is three weeks away! I've noticed the sun is setting earlier, and (gratefully) there have been some welcomed breaks in the hot, summer weather, as well as some rain.

In addition to what's ahead on the calendar, everybody looks forward to Fridays (even folk who may have to do some weekend work). So this note is to just say...

...For the remainder of today,

Also have great Labor Day holiday and 3-day weekend.
Be safe, enjoy!

September is my favorite month. All the camp spots are much quieter! We are going to do a high Sierra trip from Klamath falls down as far as Indian Wells and then head over to the coast for some quiet beach time in the later half of the month. Trips like this cut into hunting season a bit, but there isn’t that much action until mid oct anyway as it’s usually too warm still.

Not much of a consistent summer here in the TV and very short this year. Late start, early ending and very little hot weather.
