Took my H009B out to the Range today

Post by Coach » Sat Apr 16, 2016 5:51 pm

So this is only the second time I've ever shot my Henry.......

The first time was with my Nephew and we had a lot of guns out and only spent a little time with it.

I really enjoyed the mechanics of the rifle. It's a very tactile and mechanical feel. I used my "Elkhorn" stock sights @ 25 yds.
I was shooting high I adjusted my sight down. It still shot a little high.

I took my Marlin 19 out too

Nicely filled-up target, Coach. And kind of neat to see the different-sized bullets placed on a single target.
The POIs mixture is interesting to view. Thanks for posting your range report.

BTW, the "Elkhorn" sight is actually harder to adjust than the "Buckhorn" sight.
But just keep at it, and it will be tamed.
